Mana'o, in the Hawai'ian language, means "to think deeply, to concentrate, to reflect, to gain insight".  As a noun mana'o can also mean a "thought, idea or concept".

In this video, Brian shares our Mana'o about When Jesus says we are the Light of the World in Matthew 5:14-16.

What's your mana'o?  Kick off a conversation in the group chat and share what God is showing you!

Wish You Were Here!

Is life starting to pass you by?

Have you begun to isolate recently or have you noticed that you have grown more detached over time?  Things happen.  Sometimes things happen too quickly or too many things happen too close together and we find ourselves wishing we were somewhere else.  For some, these moments in life can cause a sense of panic to set in which instictively draws them closer to their family or circle of friends.

For others, pulling away from others feels like the only sensible thing to do when life turns up the heat or the volume gets to "unbearable". A time of aloneness can be a great thing, especially for prayer, worship or meditation.  But what if that has turned into several months of aloneness?  Or what if you want family or friends to draw close to but you're afraid or feel like you don't have anyone you can trust.  This is when God's 'Ohana is the most powerful.  We are here for each other at our greatest times of need to share the Love of God with each other and to support one another through trying times.  You are safe here.  Need prayer?  Someone to bounce ideas off of or just a listening ear?  Join the LIH 'Ohana or send us an email and let us know what's on your heart.  God loves you and so do we.
